Built on a cliff behind Sera Monastery in Lhasa city, Tibet autonomous region, the Rakhadrak Temple used to be the hermitage of Tsongkhapa (1357-1419), a Tibetan religious leader and founder of the Gelugpa school. It overlooks the whole city and offers a wonderful view to the horizon.
